I am currently a postdoc at UNC in Charlotte, NC working with Dr. Ross Meentemeyer.

Research Interests:
Broadly, my research interests center around understanding how movement and heterogeneity interact to determine population, community and metacommunity dynamics across spatial scales.  I strive to integrate theory and empiricism, and utilize experimentation and spatiotemporal models applied to real data and real landscapes. I have investigated these questions in several different ecological systems including the wolves of Isle Royale, tree hole mosquitoes in New Hampshire and Florida, and sudden oak death in California woodlands.
