Welcome to the Watershed Hydrogeology Lab
at
the University of North Carolina at Charlotte!
Our research focuses on groundwater-surface water interactions, water resources and climatic change, and fluvial geomorphology. Our research is primarily field-based, but we also make use of stable isotope analyses, geographic information systems (GIS), time series analyses, and modeling.
I'm Dr. Anne Jefferson, an assistant professor in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences. I teach a variety of courses including hydrogeology, fluvial processes, and earth science. I'm always looking for students interested in pursuing hydrogeology or geomorphology research, so please contact me by email or phone to discuss opportunities at UNC Charlotte. |
