PROFILE:
I have a broad interest in globalization issues and trends, and
how underlying political and economic functions control and shape
the ever-changing globalized world.
I am particularly interested in the emerging market economies and
how, through processes of globalization, these countries can improve
their developmental outlook. I am becoming increasingly interested
in how flows in the global economy can be managed in a manner that
allows for constructive economic development in developing countries,
and how this capital can be retained or reinvested in this host
country.
My recent research has focused upon the use of human capital based
economic development strategies, and the role of risk finance and
innovation capacity in the economy of North Carolina.
